The purpose of this grant is to provide Career, Technical, and Agricultural Education (CTAE) high school and middle programs with the equipment, server storage capacity, and technical support that exposes CTAE students to learning opportunities in the Audio/Video Technology & Film Industry. This grant is available for any CTAE Cluster Area. Currently, schools who have received the Georgia AV/T Grant are not eligible.

Participating schools will receive a “Studio in a Box” that will enable them to film and broadcast high-quality, HD video as well as access to the ESE Networks platform for two years.  Access also includes 1 TB of storage space and ESE technical support.

ESE Networks doesn’t merely provide the equipment and platform, each school receives on-site training with delivery of the equipment and follow up virtual training. ESE Networks also conducts regional training days throughout the state, covering technology, marketing and educational implementation. In addition, online tutorials and training are available, and should schools need any other assistance with their equipment or platform, ESE Networks provides 24/7 technical support via phone or email.

Sounds good, right? Answers to Frequently Asked Questions are below.

Who can apply?

The Georgia Universal Grant Package is available to all public and charter middle schools and high schools in the state of Georgia.

If we qualify, what is our school required to accomplish?

ESE Networks does require a set of deliverables from each grant recipient. Some examples of these are:

  • Design and implement digital content which satisfies the minimum requirements for placements on the ESE Networks website and searchable map.
  • Produce and upload at least one curriculum video per week throughout the two year active grant period.
  • Respond to surveys and requests for information to assist ESE Networks with monitoring, audit and other oversight activities as required by the Georgia Department of Education.
  • Use respective asset management practices for all equipment received during the lifetime of the grant, at a minimum tagged and inventories made available for visual inspection during any CTAE Monitoring & Risk Assessment Reviews

If we qualify, what will my school receive as a recipient of this grant?

Qualified schools will receive a “Studio in a Box” outline above that will enable them to film and broadcast high-quality, HD video as well as access to the ESE Networks platform for two years. Access also includes 1 TB of storage space and 24/7 ESE technical support.

When will we receive our ``Studio in a Box``?

Once your school is accepted, ESE Networks will contact you to schedule a time when we can deliver the equipment either on-site or at an ESE Networks Regional Training.

How do we schedule training?

Once equipment has been delivered, you will have a basic knowledge and understanding of the hardware and software included in the “Studio in a Box”. However, to fully utilize the equipment we will schedule a 1-on-1 training over the phone for a later date. We usually are in contact with our schools the same day we deliver equipment.

Do we need a video broadcast department to qualify?

NO! The beauty of this grant is that it is for any traditional public school or charter school in the state of Georgia. Even if your school doesn’t have a video broadcast department, our training and 24/7 technical support team will have you and your school up and running at full potential. We want you to succeed, and will be there every step along the way.
