State of Georgia grant monies have been made available for equipment packages to support the implementation of Georgia’s Audio-Visual-Film/Technology instructional program and pathway courses. The goal of this grant competition is to leverage ESE Networks’ experience in the film and audio/video industry and its experience with U.S. Education TV to provide middle schools and high schools with the equipment, server storage capacity, and technical support to provide students with opportunities to earn courses toward the Audio-Video-Film & Technology career pathway. This goal will be accomplished through ESE Network partnerships with middle schools and high schools across the state. This effort will build on ESE’s previous work in middle schools and high schools around the state.
Participating schools will receive a “Studio in a Box” that will enable them to film and broadcast high-quality, HD video as well as access to the ESE Networks platform for two years. Access also includes 1 TB of storage space and ESE technical support.
ESE Networks doesn’t merely provide the equipment and platform, each school receives on-site training with delivery of the equipment and follow up virtual training. ESE Networks also conducts regional training days throughout the state, covering technology, marketing and educational implementation. In addition, online tutorials and training are available, and should schools need any other assistance with their equipment or platform, ESE Networks provides 24/7 technical support via phone or email.

Sounds good, right? Answers to Frequently Asked Questions are below.
Who can apply?
The Georgia AV Grant is available to all public and/or charter middle schools and high schools in the state of Georgia.
What reports are required for my school to submit?
Minor reporting is required. Examples listed below:
- Number of students in Audio/Video and/or Broadcast Journalism courses,
- Number of students participating in A/V and/or Broadcast Journalism extracurricular activities
- Number of uploads per month
- Median video length each month
- Median number of hits per video each month
If we qualify, what will my school receive as a recipient of this grant?
Qualified schools will receive a “Studio in a Box” that will enable them to film and broadcast high-quality, HD video as well as access to the ESE Networks platform for two years. Access also includes 1 TB of storage space and 24/7 ESE technical support.
When will we receive our ``Studio in a Box``?
Once your school is accepted, ESE Networks will contact you to schedule a time when we can deliver the equipment. Yes, you heard right; WE deliver the equipment. We take the time to hand-deliver to each school and give an on-site training before we leave. We want to see your program succeed!
How do we schedule training?
Once equipment has been delivered, you will have a basic knowledge and understanding of the hardware and software included in the “Studio in a Box”. However, to fully utilize the equipment we will schedule a 1-on-1 training over the phone for a later date. We usually are in contact with our schools the same day we deliver equipment.
Our video broadcast department isn't very big... Do we still qualify?
YES! The beauty of this grant is that it is for any traditional public school or charter school in the state of Georgia.
